A fine lightweight scarf with a pretty botanical motif. It looks what is called "Pusteblume" in German which translates to blowflower, but there is no English name for it. We make all of our scarves in our studio in East Clare and are inspired by the beautiful nature that surrounds us - even Dandelions. When we named it someone said that Thistle sounds better, so that's what it is called now.
The Thistle scarf is knitted on our 14 gauge machine in tubular technique which means that the back and front show opposite colours. It is so light that it is suitable as a decorative accessory for indoors and outdoors.
