Delivery Information

DISPATCH AND DELIVERY METHODS


We do not make a profit on packaging and postage; we charge only what it costs us to post your order. We aim to dispatch all goods within two working days of receiving your order. Products are usually sent by FedEx or GLS, which enables you to track the whereabouts of your parcel once it has been dispatched.



IRELAND


Orders will be despatched by GLS. This service is fully traceable. A flat rate of €8.00 per single item order will be charged with an additional €1.00 added for each extra item on the order.
You should receive your order 1- 3 days after it has been dispatched. If, for some reason, it has not arrived after 5 working days, please contact us quoting your full name, order number and delivery address and we will help to locate your order.

EUROPE


Orders will be dispatched by FedEx. This service is fully traceable. A flat rate of €10.00 per single item order will be charged with an additional €2.00 added for each extra item on the order.
You should receive your order 5 -7 days after it has been dispatched. If, for some reason, it has not arrived after 10 working days, please contact us quoting your full name, order number and full address and we will help locate your order.
If your order is to be delivered outside the European Union, it may attract import duty and local sales taxes, which customers will need to pay on receipt of the shipment. We are not responsible for any customs or duty charges. Any parcels returned to us due to customs charges being higher than expected, we reserve the right to minus all costs incurred.

REST OF THE WORLD


Orders will be despatched by FedEX. This service is fully traceable. A flat rate of €15.00 per single item order will be charged with an additional €2.00 added for each extra item on the order.
 You should receive your order 7 - 10 days after it has been dispatched. If, for some reason, it has not arrived after 15 working days, please contact us quoting your full name, order number and delivery address and we will help to locate your order.


RETURNS AND EXCHANGES


You have 30 days to return or exchange items received from McKERNAN. Please send returns and exchanges to:

McKernan Woollen Mills, Tuamgraney, Co. Clare, V94 R1W4.

Please include your receipt, along with the reason for return (please be as detailed as possible).
 We kindly ask that all items are carefully packed and returned by recorded post.
 The card used for payment will be refunded upon receipt of the item. Please make sure the item is unworn, with original tags and packaging, is not damaged or marked in anyway, washed or smelling of smoke, aftershave, perfume or washing powder. Any returned orders from outside the Republic of Ireland need to be marked: "Returned Irish Goods and No VAT or Duty Due" so that no taxes are levied.

 Please note that you will be refunded for the price of the item but not the postage, unless the item is faulty.



LATE AND LOST DELIVERIES 


If your delivery has been delayed, then please contact us and we will track your parcel. We cannot refund or replace lost items until 20 working days after the date of despatch (30 days for international items) - this is when the courier classes items as being lost. Please note that we do not refund or replace items that are tracked as being delivered. For this reason, we always recommend that you get items delivered to your home address.
